The Cameo Theatre is steeped in the history of old San Antonio. Built in 1940 to serve the needs of the East side of San Antonio, it had both a vaudeville stage and a movie screen. Louis Armstrong, B.B. King and Fats Domino were among the early performers who commanded the stage during its heyday. The Theatre is located in Historic St Paul Square, downtown San Antonio, Near Sunset Station, and serves the tourist and local theatre community.
